A letter from a professional Opera singer: Hi Esty, Likewise, I was overwhelmed with your gorgeous voice, your diversity and musicality,- let alone your beauty. (External and internal).We have enjoyed last night tremendously-everything was wonderful, and you made the evening. It has been a long time since we had such a pleasant evening. I could suggest that you learn the aria "Quando m'en vo", from "la Boheme", There are also lyrics in English, in case you would like to make it more accessible to the American audience. The "Oh mio babbino" from Gianni Schichi" is a definite audience pleaser, and there is a song from a collection called "24 Italian Songs and Arias" which is called "Caro mio ben". I couldn't believe we know the same people, especially Amalia Sade, with whom we both studied for a while...I sang with her son Gabi, even before he turned to be an internationally known tenor. I still remember when he was struggling with his high notes... Anyway, these are just a few suggestions, but feel free to contact me anytime with any questions- I will be happy to be of help.
